My name is Steve Zooker and I own and operate Pro Form Seamless Spouting. We are a commercial and residential roofing and spouting contractor in Harrisburg PA.
How long have you owned the Equipter that you purchased?
I think we’ve had it- going on two years now.
In your perspective how has the Equipter performed for your company?
It’s performed quite well. It does everything it stated that it would do when we bought it. It really changed a lot of the jobs we do from start to finish on how we would go about doing them. It’s something that help’s the jobs stay on schedule; it also helps the job in as far as how clean we can do it. And I do believe there is a lot of times when we would be in competition with another company that doesn’t have something like an Equipter that we would get the job because we have it and somebody else didn’t.
Do you have any doubt as to whether the Equipter pays for itself over time?
No, I don’t have any doubt we’ve just done a relatively large shingle job for the city. I’m positive that it saved the cost of the Equipter just that one job; it was 40 different buildings on different sites and it was a God send having it.
What was the initial response of your employees when you bought the Equipter?
In the beginning there response was that the money would have been much better spent giving them raises for all their back breaking leg work that they do for us. And that it was just a toy that the owner had to have another toy. Now, I don’t’ think there is anyone that believes that. There all very happy that it’s there. Nobody wants to do the work that that thing does. It’s been a great thing to have for our company from start to finish.
Do you have any regrets that you purchased this piece of equipment?
No none!
